Wix’s Website Platform and 2025 Results
Wix offers tools for building and running websites and online stores. The company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker WIX in November 2013. In October 2023 it launched Wix Studio, a platform for agencies and freelancers that grew out of Editor X, and in June 2025 it acquired Base44, an AI app building service founded by Maor Shlomo.
For 2025 Wix posted revenue of 1.99 billion dollars, up 13 percent, and bookings of 2.07 billion dollars. At 31 December 2025 it had more than 304 million registered users and 6.11 million premium subscriptions.
Board Roles and the 2026 Restructuring
Abrahami chaired the Wix board from November 2013 to February 2016 and was later named honorary chair. He has also been a director of monday.com since 2012. In May 2026 Wix cut about 1,000 jobs, roughly 20 percent of its workforce. The company tied the move to costs paid in shekels against revenue earned in dollars, the shift to AI and a plan for fewer management layers.
